Our client is seeking a Certified Middle School Biology Teacher in Philadelphia, PA.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Biology, Science Education, or a closely-related field.
* Valid Pennsylvania instructional certificate in science - e.g., Instructional I or equivalent, with endorsement in Biology (Grades 7-12) or Middle Level Science.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY:
* Plan, prepare and deliver biology (and middle school science) lessons aligned with Pennsylvania state standards.
* Design and supervise laboratory investigations, experiments and hands-on activities to reinforce biological concepts.
* Assess student learning regularly (quizzes, tests, lab reports), monitor progress, and adjust instruction accordingly.
* Maintain classroom management, establish a safe and inclusive science learning environment, including proper use/care of labs and equipment.
* Communicate with parents/guardians and collaborate with colleagues, and maintain accurate records of student achievement, attendance and behavior.
