Job Description

As a Community & Social Impact Specialist with American Family Insurance you will develop and manage programs, and strategies that grow our corporate community and social impact vision, including internal programs, charitable giving and non-profit support. Be a liaison with external community and social impact organizations as well as internal partners to ensure community and social impact activities are authentically reflected both within and outside of the organization.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Community & Social Impact.

Position Compensation Range:

$61,000.00 - $101,000.00

Primary Accountabilities

  • Provide recommendations for the creation of internal or external community and social impact projects.

  • Grow relationships with community and non-profit leaders, organizations.

  • Oversee deployment and day to day operations of programmatic initiatives.

  • Manage and present program metrics and reporting.

  • Serve as a primary contact for outside vendors and working groups and committees associated with programs.

  • Ensure programmatic initiatives launch, maintenance and success within allocated budget parameters.

  • Takes part in discussions associated with the development of annual strategic goals and KPIs.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and lead program strategies.

  • Demonstrated experience with philanthropic assistive software and interfacing with general information technology principles and security standards.

  • Demonstrated experience in community investments/charitable giving and corporate social responsibility.

  • Demonstrated analytical, communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated experience developing budgets and fiscal reporting.

In this hybrid role you are expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month out of our Madison, WI location.
