Dental Receptionist Patient Coordinator Location Glen Rock, NJ :

We are looking to hire an experienced, personable Patient Coordinator to join our team! A friendly spirit is a must to provide an exceptionally warm and professional experience, on the phone and upon entrance of the dental office, to all potential and existing patients. Your main responsibilities are to appropriately schedule patients, make sure the office is running efficiently, answer and direct phone calls, enter patient information, collect co-payments, and prepare billing statements.

Your responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:

• Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
• Assisting patients in completing or updating forms.
• Confirming appointments and adhering to the practice's appointment cancellation policy.
• Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
• Communicating with dental insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
• Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
• Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, scanning, filing, e-mailing and faxing.

Dental Receptionist Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years experience working in a dental office.
• Sound knowledge of dental terminology.
• Proficient in dental practice management software (Dentrix).
• Working knowledge of general administrative practices.
• Good telephone etiquette.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of working experience as a dental receptionist
• Knowledge in Dentrix and Dexis (required)
• Language:
• English (required)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
