Floor Coverings International of Napa is expanding to better serve the Sonoma/Petaluma/Novato market and is looking for the next key player to help us keep our clients\' expectations high as we expand our services. Our unique model provides clients with a single primary point of contact throughout the decision-making and installation process. We bring our mobile showroom to the job site and handle as much of the heavy lifting as possible to make the home improvement experience smooth and enjoyable. This role requires willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what\'s needed to achieve this vision. This position involves a lot of driving between appointment sites and requires a highly organized individual who can manage multiple tasks at once. Floor Coverings International was founded in 1988 and has over 200 locations across North America, serving over 400,000 customers. Across the network our average rating is 4.7/5 stars, and locally we aim to be higher than that.

Design Associate

• Be primary point of contact for our clients and manage all jobs from beginning to end
• Meet with clients in their home/jobsite and showcase the proper flooring samples to meet their needs
• Follow our process (including use of tablet and computer software)
• Project management - including engaging with our installers for a seamless installation
• Build network for long-term relationship building and lead generation

• Customer Service: Experience speaking to clients about key features and benefits. We take our reputation very seriously and are looking for the right candidate who aligns with our vision here
• Education: Experience working in the flooring industry is a must, preferably with in-home experience - knowledge of flooring types and production process
• Tech saavy: Will be using tablet and computer (Salesforce, Asana, and others) on ongoing basis
• Must hold a valid driver\'s license and be able to pass a background check
