Main Street Entertainment Group - Executive Sous Chef Needed

Main Street Entertainment Group, a renowned restaurant management and development group, is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in menu planning and development
• Oversee kitchen operations and ensure high-quality food production
• Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain a fun and motivating work atmosphere
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations
• Assist the Executive Chef with inventory and ordering
• Have basic knowledge of profit and loss spreadsheets
• Ability to control labor and costs to make or beat budget
• Must have the ability to create fun and innovative food specials
• Ability to work all stations in the kitchen if called upon
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a fast-paced restaurant with at least 2 years of experience
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Passion for Italian cuisine and creativity in menu development
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts
