Job Summary:
As a Family Support Specialist (FSS), you will make regular home visits and carry a caseload of families enrolled in the Help Me Grow program. You will give home education according to the Growing Great Kids curriculum.
You will file mandated reports of abuse concerns with local Child Services and document observations in progress notes.
The FSS will connect families to relevant resources and ensure continuity of care and education.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Skills: Microsoft Office Word, great oral and written skills required. Must possess a friendly, nonjudgmental people-oriented disposition. Must be good with time management, flexible, dependable and have knowledge of infant and child development. Time management, self-starter, and independent working skills highly desirable.
Years of Experience: 1 year in home visiting or early childhood related field.
License: Valid Ohio driver's license and auto insurance
Certification: BLS, ACLS, PALS
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Education: Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Services, or related field.

Certification: Infant/toddler CDA, Home Visitor CDA, Early Childhood Home Visitor Credential.
