Job Duties: Workers will perform a variety of tasks associated with the production and post-harvest handling of edible beans. Duties include tending to 51 acres of research plots using automated equipment, operating farm machinery such as tractors, trucks, forklifts, skid steers, and other processing equipment. Responsibilities involve transporting produce, water, and supplies between fields, storage facilities, and the elevator. Workers will assist with the processing and packaging of beans and prepare product for shipment using railroad cars and semi-trucks. All transportation tasks fall under state farm trucking exemptions and do not require a commercial driver’s license. The position requires the ability to follow safety protocols and execute tasks with attention to detail in a dynamic, technology-driven agricultural setting.

Special Requirements: Minimum of 3 months experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain.
