Job Description

1. Conceptualize and design furniture products for various projects based on client requirements.
2. Prepare technical drawings, 3D models, and renderings using CAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or similar software.
3. Select appropriate materials, finishes, fabrics, and hardware for furniture products.
4. Collaborate with production teams, carpenters, and suppliers to ensure feasibility and quality of designs.
5. Develop prototypes and mock-ups for client approval and testing.
6. Ensure designs comply with ergonomic, safety, and sustainability standards .
7. Keep up-to-date with latest trends, materials, and techniques in furniture design.
8. Conduct cost estimation, material optimization, and production planning .
9. Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback effectively.
10. Coordinate with interior designers and architects for integrated project solutions.
11. Mentor junior designers and interns on design principles and software tools .
