Full-time. 9am-5:15pm, 5 days per week. Alternating weekends and holidays.

A housekeeper is responsible to provide cleaning services and promote a safe and secure environment for residents of the home. Housekeeping employees may be requested to work in the laundry room as well.

The housekeeper must have a valid high school diploma or GED and be able to read, write and speak English. He/she must be in good physical health and able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds. An acceptable criminal background check is also required.

• Demonstrate good personal hygiene in dress and overall appearance;
• Demonstrate professional demeanor in interactions with residents, family members, visitors;
• Be respectful and courteous to residents and families and place priority on their individual needs and requests;
• Protect the privacy and confidentiality of resident information;
• Partner with co-workers to provide highest standard of customer service to residents;
• Be self-motivated and detail oriented in the day to day housekeeping responsibilities;
• Clean assigned areas of the facility; this may involve dusting and moving furniture, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing showers, toilets and sinks, scrubbing/shampooing carpet(s), upholstery care and cleaning, washing windows, wiping blinds, washing drapes, etc.;
• Empty trash receptacles in assigned areas;
• Re-stock paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in assigned areas;
• Order cleaning supplies as needed;
• Maintain neat and organized storage areas;
• Report safety hazards and needed repairs;
• Attend mandatory in-services, trainings, and meetings;
• Participate in fire drills and effectively execute the fire and disaster plan;
• Identify opportunities for performance improvement and participate in performance improvement activities as needed;
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures.

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
