We are seeking a detail-oriented Income Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately calculating borrower income across multiple loan programs, ensuring compliance with agency guidelines and internal standards. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in mortgage underwriting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Calculate and verify borrower income for various loan products, including:
○ Fannie Mae (FNMA)
○ Freddie Mac (FHLMC)
○ FHA
○ VA
- Review income documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Apply agency-specific guidelines and internal policies to determine qualifying income.
- Collaborate with underwriting and processing teams to resolve income-related issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of investor and agency requirements.
Provide clear documentation and rationale for income calculations.
This is a fully remote role.

Skills and Requirements
Proven experience in income analysis for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA loan programs.
Strong understanding of agency guidelines and mortgage documentation. Proficiency in Encompass loan origination software.
