Role description:  

The Electrician is responsible for all electrical work and maintenance throughout the facility. This involves repairs, inspections, and new installations on all machinery.  

Compensation and Schedule:  

The starting pay rate for this role is $48.80 per hour. Any future increases are dictated by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Responsibilities:  

• Install , repair , c alibrat e , and inspect electrical devices , equipment , and circuits in the plant  

• Receive and inspect wiring diagrams , drawings , and specifications to resolve electri c al needs  

• Repair or replac e faulty motors , switches , control panels circuit breakers , control devices , batching systems , control instrumentation , and other plant electrical and electronic equipment  

• Plan and perform work on energized circuits  

• Measure , cut , bend , and install fittings , switches , controls fixtures , and wires  

• Connect all types of electrical equipment for new installations  

• Plan and perform skilled soldering repairs , installation , and calibration of thermocouple and pyrometer - controlled systems  

Minimum skills / qualifications:  

• High School Diploma or equivalent  

• Journey man level Electric i an experience  

• Experience in industrial control , lighting, and wiring  

• Must be able to stand for 8 hours  

• Must be able to lift twenty (20) pounds  

Preferred skills / qualifications:  

• PLC knowledge  

Compensation
