Job Description

Mind Computing is seeking a Pega Developer to join our team. As a Pega Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications built on the Pega platform. You will be working closely with business analysts and other developers to understand the requirements and design of the applications.

As a Pega Developer, you should have experience in Java and JavaScript programming. You should also be familiar with relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL.

Responsibilities

• Work on developing and maintaining applications built on the Pega platform.
• Understand the requirements and design of the applications.
• Write code in Java and JavaScript programming languages.
• Test and debug the applications.
• Deploy applications on the servers.
• Coordination with the project manager to ensure that the business architecture meets the customer's needs.
• Monitor the performance of the applications and make necessary changes.
• Bringing company databases, legacy software, and online services together.
• Troubleshooting application problems, code errors, and bottlenecks.
• Performing system performance tests.
• Keeping the privacy of all system programs intact.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or computer science.
• Proven work experience as a Pega developer.
• Advanced knowledge of Pega PRPC 5.x/6.x/7.x.
• Familiarity with J2EE, XML, Java, JSP, and EJB.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of coding languages including Angular JS, Java, and JQuery.
• Knowledge of web technologies including JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, and XML.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
• JAVA, .NET, and Pega scripting languages.

Additional Qualifications

• Experience working on federal government projects.
• Ability to hold a security clearance.
