QA & QC Manager

By providing the majority of mechanical requirements in-house, including engineering, 3D-design, sheet metal, HVAC, refrigeration, and controls, we are a “ONE-STOP” shop for any project.
Purpose of Position: The QA & QC Manager is responsible for the overall management of projects under their area of responsibility. They act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders and provide leadership and guidance to project team members. They ensure that our clients’ expectations are met and that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all standards and regulations.

Job Location: Boise, ID
Reporting Structure: The QA & QC Manager reports to the Project Manager, Superintendent, and the Regional Manager.
Primary Responsibilities: - Participate in design development process that pertain to QA/QC forms and inspection
- Oversee and distribute QA/QC project documentation
- Ensure required permits applications are submitted
- Quality management by focusing on quality requirements
- Field inspection of mechanical systems for quality control and assurance; observe, document and report all inspections and report all defects or issues to Project Manager/Superintendent/Site Leadership
- Work with project manager, superintendent, design team and site leadership to ensure site plans are followed
- Verify that appropriate inspections are completed for quality control and assurance
Experience, Education & Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Plumbing/HVAC project management
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) Certification
- Jobsite experience would be considered an asset
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.
- Significant knowledge of construction methods as well as an understanding of municipalities and the permit processes
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at a time
- Sound knowledge of Building Codes and Safety Regulations
- Strong knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Excel, and MS Project
- Knowledge of Viewpoint Spectrum ERP an asset
- Knowledge of Trimble AutoBid and Bluebeam an asset
