Amergis Educational Staffing is excited to partner with elementary schools in Sharon, MA to hire dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals for the 2025-2026 school year! ?? Position Overview + Location : Sharon, MA + Start Date : ASAP + Age Range : Elementary School + Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8:45 AM - 3:15 PM + Duration: Full 2025-2026 School Year + Pay Rate: Up to $25/hour ?? What You'll Do + Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with diverse needs + Implement behavior support plans and assist with academic activities + Collect and document data on student behavior and progress + Support students with ASD, developmental disabilities, and behavioral challenges + Assist with changing/toileting as needed ? Who We're Looking For + Experience in Special Education and Behavioral Support + Skilled in de-escalation, data collection, and behavior tracking + Comfortable working in sub-separate classrooms and with students exhibiting behaviors such as aggression, eloping, flopping, or self-injury + Calm, patient, and flexible in dynamic environments + Willing to support other students and classrooms as needed + Calm demeanor ? Requirements + Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities + Proven experience in behavioral support, including de-escalation techniques + Ability to provide academic support in classroom settings + Strong skills in data collection and behavior tracking + High school diploma required + Comfortable working in sub-separate classrooms and with students exhibiting behaviors such as aggression, eloping, flopping, or self-injury ??
