Role Overview:

The Data & Analytics Service Line Markets Role is critical for the growth of our Data & Analytics (D&A) Service Line in leading key Mfg. accounts expansion with D&A propositions. The Data & Analytics candidates should have experience in driving D&A solutions with the Mfg. industry clients. In addition, the D&A will need to establish themselves as a D&A service trusted advisor with our clients and with our internal client partners/account managers.

The key to this role is to have a deep understanding and ability to shape successful deals spanning across D&A: Data Engineering (Modern Data Platforms, Data

Management & Governance, Data Integration Engineering), Data Sciences (Marketing &

Sales Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Analytics), Advanced Visualization, Business Analytics (Enterprise Data Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics at Scale), Internet of Things and Data platforms.

Key responsibilities:

Driving Revenue Growth through Strategic Sales Initiatives:

  • Develop and execute a high-impact sales strategy to exceed annual revenue targets (e.g., achieving $10M+ in net new bookings/ existing new bookings annually) by identifying and closing large-scale deals with Mfg. clients.
  • Leverage data analytics solutions like predictive inventory models or customer behaviour analytics to address client pain points, with a focus on securing at least 5-7 new logos per year and growing existing accounts by 20% YoY.
  • Industry Knowledge and Domain expertise in Mfg. Consumer Goods Industry: Excellent knowledge and proven background of working in Data Analytics Sales for Mfg. Consumer Good industry is non-negotiable.
  • Client Relationship Management and Consultative Selling: Build and nurture Clevel relationships with Mfg. clients, acting as a trusted advisor to align analytics solutions (e.g., AI-driven demand forecasting or personalized marketing platforms) with their business objectives.
  • Achieve a client retention rate of 95%+ and increase upsell/cross-sell revenue by 15% annually through tailored solution pitches and consistent follow-ups, measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) improvements of 10+ points.

Leadership in Sales Team Performance:

  • This is an individual contributor role however this would have sales professionals rolling up to this person on different occasions, driving them to meet or exceed individual quotas (e.g., $2M-$3M per rep annually) by providing hands-on coaching during complex deal cycles.
  • Implement structured sales processes (e.g., CRM utilization, pipeline reviews) to ensure a 30%+ deal closure rate and reduce sales cycle time by 25% through effective qualification and negotiation strategies.

Solution Positioning and Deal Customization:

  • Sound Technical Understanding of Data Analytics. Partner with analytics and technical teams to craft compelling, customized proposals for Mfg. clients, showcasing solutions like real-time supply chain dashboards or shopper sentiment analysis.
  • Secure at least 3-5 multi-year contracts (valued at $1M+ each) annually by demonstrating measurable ROI (e.g., 10% cost savings or 5% sales uplift for clients) during presentations, tracked through client case studies and signed contracts.

Market Expansion and Competitive Sales Strategy:

  • Analyse Mfg. market trends and competitor offerings to identify untapped opportunities, such as analytics for sustainability tracking or omnichannel Mfg. insights. Drive a 25% increase in market share within the CPG segment by winning competitive bids (e.g., 50%+ win rate in RFPs) and introducing innovative solutions, measured by pipeline growth of $15M+ and industry-specific thought leadership contributions (e.g., 2-3 published case studies or webinars per year).
  • Partner with our Mfg. Sales teams to grow accounts and position D&I services to clients.
  • Partner with the D&A Presales / COE teams in conceptualizing the Mfg. based solutions & estimates.
  • Help develop and execute the Sales strategy and plan to grow the D&A footprint for Mfg. Industry
  • Manage a book of business by tracking progress on account revenue growth, margin and CSAT scores.
  • Drive GTM D&A strategy for the Mfg. Industry group
  • Support and Lead sales pursuits and shape deals to improve the winnability.
  • Manage customer relationships with key accounts.
  • Internal evangelization of D&A Services across LTIMindtree service lines and Industry teams
  • External evangelization at Industry events and conferences.

Activities and Skills to achieve above Responsibilities include but are not limited to.

  • Overall, 15 + years within business and technology consulting services with majority of experience and focus across D&A advisory and technology services.
  • At least 5 + years of relevant and current experience of working in D&A Sales for Mfg. sector.
  • Experience of D&I spanning across: Data Engineering (Modern Data Platforms, Data Management & Governance, Data Integration Engineering), Data Sciences

(Marketing & Sales Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Analytics),

Advanced Visualization, Business Analytics (Enterprise Data Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics at Scale), Internet of Things and Data platforms good understanding of the Mfg. industry

  • Prior experience of Pre-Sales: Estimation and Solutioning
  • Have personally owned order booking / revenue targets with an excellent track record.
  • Must have worked with consultancy firms and would consider Digital born organizations as LTIMindtree.
  • Should be serving in a similar role now and MUST have spent the majority of career in a service organization.
  • Consulting sales approach to opportunities, Sales strategy & execution for D&A services organization
  • Strong sales experience built on solid technical and sales background.
  • Strong relationship building experience with senior level executives (CDOs, CMOs, Business, CIOs) spanning across business, marketing & technology.
  • Understand the challenges and opportunities within the industry Experience addressing these issues with D&A solutions and industry trends.
