Key Responsibilities:

  • Plumbing & Electrical : Install and repair faucets, toilets, hot water tanks, garbage disposals, dishwashers, power switches, fuses, and wall sockets.
  • Drywall & Carpentry : Install drywall to repair holes, cover wear, and scrape popcorn ceilings; install doors, windows, trim, and molding.
  • Lighting & Fixtures : Install and repair ceiling lights, fans, and adjust garage doors as needed.
  • Exterior Maintenance : Perform tasks like picking up trash, maintaining flower beds, trimming trees, removing fallen leaves, and repairing siding and gutters.
  • Specialized Skills : Apply specific trade skills, including concrete finishing, sheetrocking, and carpentry, to guide and execute repair projects.
  • Winter Maintenance : Assist with snow removal duties (shoveling, plowing, spreading ice melt) during the winter months.
  • Inventory & Equipment : Keep company storage and vehicles organized, ensuring tools and materials are well-maintained.
  • Communication : Regularly communicate with supervisors regarding the overall maintenance of the properties.
  • Safety & Compliance : Use and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required based on the nature of the task.
  • Record Keeping : Accurately log work performed at each location using a service-tracking application installed on a mobile device.
  • Tracking Protocols : Adhere to and actively promote company tracking protocols and procedures, including using data for billing confirmation, emergency response optimization, safe-driving habits, and recording driving data in case of an incident.
  • Team Collaboration : Work effectively with management, tenants, and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • Additional Duties : Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operation and upkeep of the properties.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience : 2+ years of experience in construction, including hands-on knowledge in multiple construction disciplines.
  • Licensing : Certification to perform mechanical HVAC, plumbing, and/or electrical work in Boone County and the City of Columbia is a plus.
  • Driving : Valid driver’s license with a corporate-insurable driving record.
  • Physical Requirements : Ability to grasp, lift, maneuver, rotate, and use various trades tools and equipment. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50-80 lbs.).

This is a great opportunity for skilled professionals in the construction and remodeling fields who enjoy a hands-on, varied work environment. If you’re looking for a dynamic role with opportunities for growth and a solid team to work with, apply today!
