About Our Client:

Our client is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their department on a contract basis with the potential to convert to a full-time role.

Job Description:

This position will support monthly financial close activities, including preparing journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and producing formal month-end reports. The accountant will report directly to the Accounting Supervisor and Senior Manager within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely journal entries for monthly financial close
• Maintain multiple general ledgers
• Create and submit formal month-end financial statements
• Work in Microsoft Excel daily for reporting and reconciliation
• Support additional financial analysis or reporting tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
• 1–5 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong proficiency in Excel

• Type of Assignment: Contract (potential Contract-to-Hire)
