Summary: Lourdes Academy High School has an immediate opening for a theology teacher. The school is committed to providing a traditional education in a faith filled environment. Our goal is to make sure our students feel safe, valued and loved while educating them in mind, body and spirit. The ideal candidate must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with an advanced degree in Catholic theology, and have a love for his/her faith and feel called to share that faith with today's adolescents. This candidate should also be a highly-qualified educator with strong leadership skills, is an excellent communicator and can motivate and inspire children in a positive manner. The incumbent in this position will partner with parents, teachers and administration to foster and promote student learning and moral development through the Green Bay Catholic Diocese curriculum. Applicant must: Hold a minimum of bachelor's degree in theology or religious studies from an accredited college or university and have teaching experience, master's degree in theology highly preferred Three years relevant experience preferred Demonstrated initiative in continuing education through the Green Bay Diocese Foundational Catechetical Certification program Be able to support, affirm, and uphold, by word or example, the teachings of the Catholic Church Have a passion and commitment for a faith-filled education Be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing Upon employment, be able to pass criminal background check Candidates should submit letter of interest, resume, three letters of reference and transcripts to: Lois Reischl Lourdes Academy 250 N.
