Job Title: Travel - RN Nurse - PACU (Recovery)

Location:  Fresno, California

Department/Unit: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Salary Range: $50 to $70 per hour

Shift: Day Shift

Duration: 13 Weeks

No of Vacancy- 4 

 

Position Summary:

Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking an experienced PACU Nurse to join our team in California ASAP .The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care and recovery, providing high-quality care to patients following anesthesia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU.
• Provide medical care and support to patients, ensuring safety and comfort during recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery processes.
• Document patient progress and interventions accurately in medical records.

Requirements:

• Must be a Registered Nurse with a valid state license.
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, CHS, NIH Certification.
• Must have ICU experience and PACU experience in trauma level 1 or 2 facilities.
• Experience with pediatric patients is preferred.
• Familiarity with NIH-Stroke protocols is a plus.
