Requirements - Required Certifications: CPT I, CPT II, BLS, State licensed
- Required Skills: Hospital, Outpatient Lab, CLSI recommended Order of blood draws, Gray top (Fluoride, Potassium Oxalate), Instruct patient on proper collection and preservation for specimen, Light blue top tubes (coagulation), Post venipuncture site care, Prioritize patient collections based on order request (stat, timed, routine), Purple top (EDTA), Red top tubes (plain), Blood culture bottles, Drug screen kits, Heel warmers, Ova parasite container, Vacutainer holder, Vacutainer tubes, Syringe method, Vacutainer method, Deliver specimens to (time), Chilled specimen, Microbiological specimens, Protection of specimen from light source, Warmed specimen, Finger stick, Heel stick, Blood culture, GYN specimens, Peak & Trough Drug levels, Aseptic Technique, Blood specimen storage, Data entry, Medical records review, Proper disposal, Proper labeling, Quality assurance and controls, Standard precautions, Transmission based precautions, Identify and respond to emergency situations
Job Details - Pay: $1,118/week - $1,348/week
- Assignment Length: 13-week assignment
- Shift: 5, 8-Hour 07:00 - 15:30
- Alt Schedule: 5, 8-Hour 23:00 - 07:00
- At least one year of experience required
