As a Warehouse Picker / Order Picking Associate , you will be responsible for selecting items from warehouse storage locations and preparing them for packing and shipping. Your work directly impacts order accuracy, delivery speed, and customer satisfaction.

Pick customer orders by walking warehouse aisles and selecting products from assigned locations
Use an RF scanner or handheld device to confirm correct item selection
Verify product codes (SKU/UPC), quantity, size, and product condition
Follow pick paths and zone assignments to support fast, organized warehouse flow
Reconfirm accuracy before sending picked items to packing/staging areas
Prepare picked items for packaging by organizing them in totes, carts, or pallets
Assist packers by ensuring orders are separated correctly and easy to process
Identify fragile or high-value items and follow special packaging instructions
Apply labels accurately and ensure barcodes remain scannable
Move completed orders to staging areas based on carrier pickup times
Sort outgoing shipments by route, delivery type, or priority level
Organize pallets and carts to support smooth loading operations
Assist in loading shipments onto trailers where required
Count items carefully and report missing/damaged products immediately
Flag shelf discrepancies, wrong labels, or incorrect inventory counts
Assist with cycle counts or spot checks when assigned
Keep product areas clean and restock pick locations when needed
Follow all warehouse safety rules and maintain OSHA-aligned practices
Use proper lifting techniques and request assistance for heavy/awkward items
Keep aisles clear, remove debris, and maintain clean workstations
Wear PPE as required (safety shoes, gloves, reflective vest, etc.)
Report hazards, spills, or unsafe conditions immediately

Don’t worry—you’ll receive onboarding training so you understand exactly what “good performance” looks like.
This is an on-site warehouse role. Depending on the location, you may work in:
fulfillment centers
e-commerce warehouses
retail distribution centers
cold storage / temperature-controlled facilities
high-volume shipping hubs
You should be comfortable with:
standing/walking for long periods
repeated lifting, bending, reaching, and moving items
a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines
teamwork and clear production goals
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Ability to stand/walk for most of the shift
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Basic English communication skills (for safety + scanning directions)
Reliable transportation to and from the work site
Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends when needed
These are a plus, but not required:
Previous experience in warehouse picking, fulfillment, or shipping/receiving
RF scanner experience or familiarity with barcode systems
Experience in Amazon-style fulfillment, e-commerce, or distribution centers
Pallet jack experience
Forklift certification (for certain sites)
Knowledge of inventory systems or warehouse management systems (WMS)

Shifts vary based on location and client needs, such as:
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Overnight Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Weekend availability may be requested for peak demand periods
Overtime opportunities may be available during busy seasons.
Pay Range: $17.00 – $23.00/hour
