Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
  • Strong interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Knowledge of therapy principles, materials, and equipment
  • Understanding of patient safety and treatment precautions
  • Training in prescriptive devices (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation) preferred
  • Experience with Medicare/third-party reimbursement and Net Health a plus
  • Emotional stability and commitment to confidentiality

What You'll Do

  • Deliver occupational therapy services under the direction of licensed therapists.
  • Assist patients in developing, recovering, and maintaining daily living skills.
  • Use modern therapeutic equipment and methods to promote recovery.
  • Maintain accurate treatment documentation and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
