The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be a key strategic and operational partner to the CEO and executive team, responsible for leading global operations across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and program execution. This executive will play a critical role in scaling operations, enhancing cross-functional collaboration, and driving performance excellence in a multi-industry environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience across aerospace, automation, and automotive sectors, with a proven track record of people leadership and global operations oversight.
Operational Leadership: Oversee and optimize all day-to-day operations, including global manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and customer delivery, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability.
Strategic Execution: Translate the company’s strategic vision into actionable operational plans, KPIs, and cross-functional initiatives.
P&L Ownership: Drive financial performance and operational discipline across sites and business units with direct responsibility for operating budgets, margin improvement, and capital investments.
Engineering & Technology: Partner with R&D and engineering leaders to align technical capabilities with operational strategy and customer requirements.
Global Expansion: Support international growth strategies, including footprint expansion, M&A integration, and operational readiness in new markets.
Continuous Improvement: Champion Lean, Six Sigma, and digital transformation initiatives to elevate efficiency and performance.
Leadership & Culture: Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing global team with a strong focus on accountability, collaboration, and talent development.
Customer & Quality Focus: Ensure delivery of world-class quality and customer satisfaction through robust operational systems and responsiveness.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 15 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, engineering, or manufacturing within aerospace, automation, and/or automotive industries.
Proven success leading complex global operations, ideally in a high-mix, high-precision manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and team development capabilities, with experience managing multi-site or multinational teams.
Demonstrated ability to scale operations during periods of high growth or transformation.
Deep understanding of quality systems, lean manufacturing principles, supply chain management, and industrial automation.
Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and change management skills.
